Where I come from:
I come from a small town in Northern California that not many people have heard of. I usually just tell people I am from the Bay Area (which is highlighted on the map) because it is easier and I feel it doesn’t tie me down to one specific place.
Where I'm going:
How I am going to get there:
How I am LIKE my parents:
How I am UNLIKE my parents:
Have I developed my own expectations?
Who serves as a model in my life?
There is a Sports Agent named Nicole Lynn whom I admire greatly. She is one of the only African American Female Sports Agents who represents some of the recent top football players. She was also one of the youngest sports agents. While being a sports agent, she also practices law. I admire her because of how powerful she has become at a young age. She has the passion and drive I practice to gain. Getting into the sports industry is not easy, but she has done that and so much more.
The wild animal I am connected to:
A significant childhood encounter with a tree or plant:
When I was little and had a lot of free time I tried to make my own garden at home. Although I didn’t really know what I was doing, I enjoyed doing it and I still carry my passion for gardening.
Also, my signs are:
Sun sign- Pisces
Moon sign- Leo
Rising sign- Capricorn
Hi Raigan, I really enjoyed reading your blog. I also know Nicole Lynn and I like her passion and drive. This is defiantly something that I practice a lot during my tennis career and in school. We also chose the same wild animal but from a little bit different reasons :)
ReplyDeleteHi Raigan,
ReplyDeleteVery interesting read! I feel relatable to the part where you talk about how one should develop expectations for themselves. You can only live life to the fullest when you’re being you. Keep being yourself!

Hey Raigan! I really liked your response about creating expectations for yourself. As Paulo Coelho said, "you are your own best friend. Never ever put yourself down".

Hi Raigan. I thought your lion comparison was really funny. I will have to make a note of your hair the next time we are in class. I think you have a very positive outlook on life and I am sure I will see this reflected in class.
